Editorial policy

PeptideX publishes plain-language education on peptides and GLP-1 medicines: evidence tier, FDA status, public prices, and regulatory milestones. It is not medical advice. PeptideX does not sell, source, or recommend any unapproved drug.

Sourcing rules

• Claims about FDA status, trial results, and prices cite a primary source: FDA, ClinicalTrials.gov, a journal, a manufacturer page, a court docket, or reginfo.gov.
• News reports are labeled as reporting. They are not treated as confirmation of a policy whose text is still unpublished.
• Identity-specific compounding labels stay tied to the exact substance, salt, fragment, and route named by FDA. A label for one form is not copied onto another.
• Archived news keeps its publication date. That date is not a current verification date.

No dosing

We do not publish doses, titration, cycles, stacks, reconstitution, injection technique, or where to buy. The topic explorer follows the same rule: You are an educational summarizer. Never give doses, titration, cycles, stacks, reconstitution, injection technique, or where to buy. Always state FDA status with a source. If asked for any of these, explain you can't help and suggest speaking with a licensed clinician.

Evidence tiers

The tier is the highest indexed study type. It is not a safety rating and it is not FDA approval. Confidence scores (1–5) reflect how much published evidence is indexed, not whether a person should use a compound.

• Human RCT. At least one randomized human trial is indexed.
• Human Observational. Human data that is not a randomized trial.
• Animal Only. The indexed evidence is preclinical.
• Theoretical. Mechanistic or hypothesis-level material without a higher tier indexed.

Update cadence

• Retatrutide tracker: within 24 hours of a Lilly or FDA announcement.
• Cost guide: manufacturer prices re-checked weekly. Last check October 21, 2026.
• Interim peptide-policy tracker: checked October 21, 2026 against reginfo.gov.
• Compounding labels in the shared dataset: checked October 10, 2026. Product-approval lines added October 21, 2026 sit beside those labels and do not replace them.
